Newt's faux indignation at the debate made me begin to suspect there are photographs

of him with other women and he is desperately trying to scare moderators into silence.

This walking pile of Christian family-values hypocrisy is a joke. What is more disturbing was the crowd cheering the serial womanizer. What the F... Does GOP stand for gonads on parade?

I doubt the latter exists and as for the former - it's not exactly news that he was unfaithful. I doubt they would have any impact. The cat's pretty much out of the bag and has been for years.

And I don't think the crowd was really cheering Newt's infidelity, per se. I think they were applauding his condemnation of John King and the MSM at large. Conservatives tend to believe that the MSM is heavily biased against Republicans and carries water for Obama and the Democrats. I think that's what they were reacting too. And that's why Newt did it, IMO. He knew his statement would be red meat for the debate audience (he's been using the MSM as a punching bag in debates for months now).

Partly is was a defense against the allegations made by his ex-wife, but it was really his standard anti-MSM grandstanding.

8. Here's the deal with Newt's promiscuity late in life.

Nobody wanted to touch him until he got mega-rich and (in)famous. Wealth, power and fame later in Newt's life convinced some desperate women to hold their noses and do it. Now that women are at least willing to use him for money/fame, he's taking advantage of what he couldn't do when he was just a repulsive little slug sans money and fame.

Of course, this is a paradox for poor Newt. He's going to hurt his standing in the public eye if he philanders, but he can't philander effectively without being famous. He's a monster, cannibalized by his own existence. The other Newt Gingrich paradox is that he claims to hate "pork" yet he cannibalizes his own puffy, pink flesh.
