He and his wife named their daughter Hope, the daughter they were able to have thanks to IVF.

Here they are riding the slingshot. I am in love.

For a few years before he died, after he married
his second wife (who allowed him to be as racist
as he wanted to be), I lost my dad to Fox.

So, I really relate to this meme!

It is now pretty likely he will leave this world soon, and will do it alone, having pushed his children away with his right wing lunacy. When we were young kids (pre-Fox), he wasn't political at all.

Absolutely heartbreaking.

Not mourning bothered me more. Shouldn't I be upset? Anyone else would be upset. He was lost to that channel, too

I grieved her loss at least a decade before she died. People don’t understand how that can happen, but some relationships are that toxic.

Bud Light, Barbie movie, and any other stupid thing they can think of to get their viewers riled up. While we are concerned about keeping democracy.

Forward!

Or have they reverted to form and gone back to attacking Simone Biles?

Through high school and college, I called band directors "coach." It came closest to express my respect.

Interestingly, our HS football director, Coach Hill, tried to encourage me to try out - but I told him up front that my childhood asthma would be a problem (since it flared up whenever I ran).

Still - for the few times we spoke afterward, he was always friendly and encouraging.

I didn't realize it at the time - but he'd look at me as if thinking: "it's too bad you have that problem - because I can tell that with some training and confidence, you wouldn't be half-bad out there (maybe as a safety or something like that)."

I miss him; I hope he's doing well (he must be in his 70s or 80s by now).

When I see Coach Walz, he reminds me of an older Coach Hill.
