Pledge of Allegiance

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Justice for all!

I always think of a justice being served to Trump and yet he wants to kick the can down further to avoid justice being served onto him.

No one is above the law!

3. Roger that. I have only ever recited the original for decades. I'll lead the Pledge if asked but will give fair warning.

She always left out the divisive religious garbage that was added in by religious bigots, because that's how she learned to recite it. She never has gotten the hang of including the divisive garbage.

First time I heard her leave out the divisive garbage, I thought it not only sounded better, but also was morally better as well.

I've said it that way ever since.

These words do not ring true.
Especially when I see his name on a flag.

A nation based on democracy or a fascist dictatorship? Starting to get confused at city council and school board meetings.
