I respect how difficult that was.
Five years ago, I supported Sen. Warren. I was told by several liberal women that the US is not ready for a woman to be President. I was dismayed and asked why. Nearly all of them educated me to the discrimination and bias that woman face on a day-to-day basis. I was floored by this. I felt ignorant and out of touch.
Thankfully, the world is different today. I watched the debate tonight with several friends, all male, that I have known since childhood. I shared my experience I just described above. They all agreed, America is far past ready for Kamala Harris to be President. We celebrated as we watched how she expertly handled the traitor. He was off the rails, full of lies, and reduced to an angry old man selling some really old shit. The only baby being murdered after birth was a 78 year old tired orange man who can’t do anything but blame other people for his own failures.
Vice President Harris WILL be the next President of the United States.
