Just had a woman canvassing saying she was a Republican for Harris

she gave me a flyer for a State house candidate with no info on party. This is their new tactic to try and get Dem votes.

I am running for Georgia House District 86 in DeKalb County.

My Platform

Affordable healthcare for all and lower prescription drug costs.

Removing sanctuary cities, decreasing crime, and securing our border.

School choice and vouchers and improving math and reading scores.

Eliminating the state tax.

Denouncing all bigotry and racism, including antisemitism.

Calling all terrorists, including Hamas, pure evil in no uncertain terms.

If I get campaign lit w/o a party affiliation, I'll google their name, even the local ones.

more effort than a simple Google--at least where I am (don't want book-banners or other cretins). And THAT is why we desperately need support for local newspapers... Sigh...

They might be in a tough district and have to adopt those platforms just to be competitive.

While we were voting in a previous election, my husband was approached literally just outside the legal distance from the polling place by a notorious MAGAt congresscreep, Kyle Biederman, to glad-hand and give him campaign lit. My husband (semi-civilly) told him it will be a cold day in hell before he’d vote for a Republican. Biederman’s reply was to CLAIM HE WASN’T A RETHUG. He literally said “Republican? Where does it say that?” My husband simply pointed at the flyer he had been handed, where it said “Conservative Republican.”

It was really generic, reasonable and no indication of party. Then I saw one of his signs in a yard with a big trump banner. you have to do your research because it seems they are impersonating dems to get elected.
