Trump doesn't mean "me"

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

One can only hope that the suckers will in fact wake up, get a clue, and stay woke as the G.O.P.'s draft-dodging con man and his russian co-conspirators fling the poison poo ferociously in the weeks ahead.

Trump supporter regrets vote after undocumented husband is deported

Helen Beristain thought President Trump would deport only the criminals and troublemakers.

Then her husband was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials despite his clean record, making her wish she hadn’t voted in the presidential election at all.

Instead of "wishing she hadn't voted at all", "wishing she had voted against Donald Trump" would have been more effective toward precluding her husband's fate.
