And the reason I've only done 69 of these in fourteen years is that I don't try to rush it out. This one is about as close as I get to rushing, because I did intend to get one out before the election (I normally post these on Saturday, but you know...that whole "DU is down" thing...)

And that tfg will protect us from that, but everyone who doesn't support him or his minions is part of the deep state and is conspiring to achieve a one world government. Lot's of double speak about that, which I won't get into. I just needed to share this when I saw your post. Considering we're not supposed to post conspiracy theories on DU, I'm just sharing this as an example of what else is out there.

I have a casual friend who is so wrapped up in conspiracy theories, and latches on to the craziest and most bizarre crap! She's a vegetarian, was supporting Kennedy because of all his crazy anti vax, anti fluoride and extreme views. Since rfkjr endorsed tfg she voted for him because she believes rfk can keep tfg in line! His whole family is part of the deep state, according to her, which is why they don't support his views. She doesn't particularly like tfg, feels like she voted for Kennedy.

We recently had a text conversation where ahe shared a lot of these views with me. I was honestly flooded by the stuff she was spewing, she's totally brainwashed!
I think she's mentally unbalanced, and actually not a republicon, she's unaffiliated but leans right. Still, the stuff she believes comes from somewhere, and it gets to a lot of folks who are inclined to believe that. Different from the magats who show unwavering support, or party loyalists who show muted support. This appeals to the fringe crazies.

It amazes me, the stuff they believe and justify. Thanks for your post.

He used his own money to pay for sex with a willing adult woman. He didn't abuse his office for it. He resigned without a fight. A dozen or more other's identities were never revealed, so it was a right wing hit job.

I've kept it in thus far more because of the double standard at work--a bunch of Republicans have done far worse, but Spitzer was hounded from office while the GOP cheaters can go "Jeebus 4gives me!!!" and, in some cases like Mark Sanford (who went AWOL from office to go bang his Argentinian girlfriend), actually get elected to something again afterwards.

I'll take it under consideration.
