there is no way the Secret Service would allow her to go up and knock on a complete strangers door. The house and people in it were vetted prior to the visit and if not, then the Secret Service was not doing their job.

...even someone like Harris is pretty safe walking up to a random house if a plan to do something like this is known to very few people, if it isn't on any publicly-available schedule.

After all, she isn't just someone running for office. She is the current Vice President who is next in line for the Presidency if something were to happen to President Biden.

but for a while I've been noticing she moves with an ease and grace that speaks of someone who's in good physical shape and takes care of herself.

I'm a little jealous as I'm not that much older then her, but a series of injuries have set me back badly, and it's a major struggle to get back to anywhere near even the level of fitness I had five or so years ago.

And she appears comfortable standing with her arms relaxed and by her side. Not many can do this.

and she can open vehicle doors first try without nearly doing herself an injury or toppling over.

It's really no contest.
