I'm sorry, but there's something deeply disturbing about NPR's "Special Coverage"...

I'm sorry, but there's something deeply disturbing about National Public Radio's "Special Coverage" of todays horrible shootings. i KNOW it's their "job" to report the news, but after two (now THREE) hours of coverage consisting of interviews with "experts" who work for NPR and the same press conference by the same official played repeatedly and the local affiliate breaking in and saying "we'd like to remind our listeners that they can find the latest updates on todays shootings by visiting our website" and....

and all in voices that let us know how deeply concerned they are and how they much they "dealing with their feelings" for the victims and their families... let me just say this-

IT DOESN'T HELP ONE GOD DAMNED BIT!!!! IT'S ALMOST PORNOGRAPHIC!

It sickens me.

FUCK GUY RIZDAL AND FUCK NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO.

There. I said it.

he's telling us what to do for our children. i nearly puked.

i'm sure nancy fucking grace will weigh in soon.

if you want to know what's wrong with america, the fucking *media* would be a good place to start.
