Homophobia, racism, and sexism are inherently wrong.
Guns aren't inherently wrong - they just tend end up causing mayhem to innocents. But we outlaw certain drugs for the same reason - they tend to cause bad things to happen (although making them illegal tends to cause even bigger problems).
At the very least, we should tamp down on guns. Tough gun control laws save lives, no question.
