I am glad President Biden pardoned his son, especially in light of trump saying he will pardon all the J6 rioters. Anyone protesting this pardon should give it a rest.

2. It's been the bane of progressive media for years. Reruns.

In this climate if you're going to start a radio or TV show it needs to be live or current all the time. That means when the main host(s) go on vacation for whatever reason they need to arrange to have someone sit in and keep the show live/current. In the case of a big network like MSNBC they have enough in the way of on-air staff to give them a shot at anchoring the weekend shows. They do an OK job during the week, but it's like news stops in the morning and other "day parts" on weekends. (Velshi is great and the new Weekend show ain't bad. Give us more of an effort elsewhere, please)

Progressive radio time slots are often filled with reruns in holiday weeks. I know it's a question of finance with them. The Democratic Party ought to get on the ball and have some commitment to at least get progressive radio coverage in every media market. They could start with an umbrella brand called, say, Voice of Democracy.

The right wing has been at it for decades. It's going to take time to catch up even a little, but it needs to have a presence that people can find to allow them an attempt to find out "what the other side" is saying. And you, progressive rich guys, need to step up and help fund an effort to buy radio stations and other media. If we don't do this we're going to continue to lose or show weak results in elections.

Normally that is a gradual process taking months, years, even decades. But with the legacy networks (ABC, MSNBC, CNN et al,) you can see the window move before your eyes.

Would have left him in a jail cell at the mercy of the Trumpsters. What else was President Biden supposed to do? Not that I don't wish everyone unjustly incarcerated and/or in danger while being in prison didn't have the same opportunity to be pardoned, but that doesn't mean I don't agree with this particular case.
