Recovery from hip replacement surgery takes time.

We don't how bad the injury was and if there were other injuries as well.

Another consideration is that she cannot sustain another fall like that.
So she is going to need to be careful.

She had a bad fall down marble steps.

Sustained serious injuries and had a hip replacement to repair the hip injury.
We don't know how bad the original injury was, or if there were other injuries as well.

The mortality rate for a fall resulting in a hip break is quite different from just a hip replacement.

Then required a hip replacement to repair the damage.

I keep saying over and over she had a hip replacement.
So arguing with me about it is quite ridiculous.

I would guess that's what happened to Speaker Pelosi. She's super healthy, thin and fit, unlike many elderly people that have to have a hip replacement. She should have a decent recovery.
