Today is law enforcement appreciation day

To any member who is currently serving, or formerly served, in law enforcement in a civilian or military capacity, thank you for your service to your community and this nation.

And as a reminder 4 years ago on 1/6 it was Federal and Local Law Enforcement who saved democracy. State Police from MD, VA and even NJ also came to the Capitol to help save democracy. No troops, no national guard, cops saved democracy.

Who put their lives on the line every day.

And a special thanks to those who stood between the insurrectionists and our Congress on Jan 6, 2021. If only our media were as dedicated to doing their jobs in the aftermath as you were on that day…
