Any Democrat who thinks the NRA will go to bat for him should ask former Congressman Baca
Baca lost his seat in 2012 to a candidate supported by Michael Bloomberg. Baca got all A's from the NRA until he refused to sign a letter asking for Holder to be fired over Operation Fast and Furious. He had a B plus despite that refusal. His opponent had a D for her record in the California state legislature. So what did the NRA do, they remained neutral in the race. The spent not one thin dime to save his seat. Remember that Democrats.
