Third Amendment Protection from quartering of troops.
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
I should add, I am posting this to show that the reactions of our forefathers to the circumstance that caused this to be included is the same mindset of the 2nd amemdment which if the thinking is the same should be obsolete as well.

(52,253 posts)as long as congress passes both a declaration of war and and details how your house can be occupied by troops, it's all ok as far as the third amendment goes.
