So much pain all around and it will reverberate like ripples in a pond for a long time.

Or anger. Children should never have to write such sad, heartbreaking letters. God bless this little boy and provide him and his classmates with the comfort and strength they will need in order to help make this a far better world than the one we, as adults, have provided for them. Children all over America, from the inner cities to small towns are faced with dangers from guns that adults have agreed to and refused to address. I pray that we never have to read another letter like this written by a six year old grieving from the loss of a friend because of gun violence. Children in the inner cities can write hundreds of these letters a day because of the gun violence they witness on a daily basis, and that is sad, and totally ridiculous.

"I'll talk to you in my prayers." Oh, my. He's got it all figured out...and, that's that.

Cyber hugs to him. Lots of them.
