Why, the next foolish idea someone will come up with is figuring out how to re-take the House!

Do some of the DUers who want to shout at the President even know where their congress critter stands?

If congress critter is a Republican, why leave them alone and give them a pass? Hmmmm.

Please take the social safety net programs off the table. Real money can be found by cutting corporate welfare. Medicare could be made whole by allowing people to buy into the plan when they are young and healthy. Social security could be saved by removing the cap so that everyone continues paying into the fund on all earnings, not just the first $108k. These are common sense proposals that will not hurt the most vulnerable among us.
Thank you,

Unfortunately, it's not practical for most of us to take a trip to Washington, DC, for this.

We need to surround Congress and the White house with millions of people! I'm not advocating we hinder their movement in any way, but I don't think they could ignore 10s of thousands or million or more people right outside their offices!! Those who can't make it, should be calling, emailing, and faxing all of the senate and house members and the White House, and we can gather at the FEDERAL buildings in our own cities!

Unfortunately, I have to be realistic; people will probably not be too keen on being out in the cold weather. I guess that their warmth & comfort is more important than SS & Medicare.
