Cats get humans to serve them with an aloof purr while not doing anything we tell them to do. Then, if they feel like it, they rub against our legs, and we give them treats and tuna.

Dogs on the other paw, have to do tricks, like roll over, play dead, fetch, shake paw, climb the ladder. Then if they behave, they get a treat!
