Isn't that special-> How the National Rifle Association Rates Lawmakers

The National Rifle Association gives members of Congress a grade ranging from A to F that reflects their voting record on gun rights. But in response to the school shooting, some pro-gun Democrats have signaled an openness to new restrictions on guns, and the N.R.A. released a statement that said it was “prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again.”

excellent info graph at link, I don't know how to copy & paste it here. Places with F is a badge of honor.

Is how "powerful" the NRA is.

My back country, I know this for a fact, dems are advised not just to dance around it, but avoid it in it's entirety if possible.

Have I mentioned San Diego County has had four school shootings and one mass otherwise shooting? Have I mentioned three are exactly in that East County. Ok, technically four, SDSU is in the East County too, by the paper's definition.

I get the gun rights argument, even if I live on the coast. I get it, I need to defend my home, since the cops will take forever...in our rural areas that sheriff can take upwards of an hour in some parts. I get it, you need that riffle. You really do.

And yes, some of my back country denizens do hunt for a living. They do.

What we need to debate is the types of guns tat a civilian needs. Personally civilians do not need infantry riffles. It's that simple.
