I just got through to the White House comment line

I went through the switchboard: 1-202-456-1414 The direct comment line number: 1-202-456-1111 is a lost cause

I made it clear that I was a supporter of the President (I campaigned for him in 2012); but, I do not approve of any cuts to Social Security or Medicare.

Next up, will be calls to Sen. Claire McCaskill and Rep. Emanuel Cleaver.

With all the angry posts I've read against the President and fellow DUers, how many have actually tried to call the White House and/or their Congresspersons?

You can go to Project Vote Smart for the contact info for your own Congresscritters.

Snail mail actually has even more; but, it takes time and we need to have our voices heard now!

I've called my congressman several times before about it previously.

Best to say you don't approve of any changes. Yes, that precludes strengthening SS and Medicare.medicaid, but I haven't heard anyone in power suggest that one for a long time.
