anyone see the boehner press statement? what an asshole.

his statement was basically...tomorrow we will pass a tax cut for 98% of the people...the President can get senate to pass it or be responsible for taxes going up on 98% of folks...

and he walked off...

sounds dirty but it isn't). The one the Dems vowed point blank to vote no on.

That way the Presiden'ts counter offer is moot, we will go over the Cliff which will raise revenue, cut defense, and and keep SS in tact, and PUKES will get the blame.

The only downside is unemployment benefits ending in that scenario. I hate that part. But hopefully it could be fixed as soon as the new Congress would be seated in January. Still have to deal with Puke House, but one with less TeaPukers, and we'd have a stronger Senate.

And cut it some more.

Over fifty cents per tax dollar goes to defense, and that is a travesty.

BTW, I'm going to have to self-medicate after the thought of Boner's package.
