post links here to things the media has gotten wrong about the CT shooting/shooter in last 5 days

http://www.infowars.com/fanapt-hoax-hides-real-connection-between-shooters-and-ssri-drugs/

try to stick to "mainstream" media- the ny daily news had to take that fanapt thing back. sure he was on SOMETHING, but they got fooled by a troll saying he was lanza's uncle.

they said it was his older brother and the guy got thousands of hate messages on facebook, even though he was supposedly dead?

they said the father was dead, they said there were 2 shooters, etc

there have to be dozens of misprints or whatever you call them.

The Washington Post printed the name a friend of my ex-husband's and mine as being the Library Media Specialist who hid the kids in the supply closet with all the servers. This story was then carried by other media online.

This person has not been a teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary for a couple of years and I confirmed that she was not there at the school at all.

The Washington Post later changed this reference to a generic "another teacher" in the article and the other media outlets followed suit, but nevertheless caused some panic over here (thinking she had been at the school that day in some temporary/substitute capacity).

I know this isn't a big detail in the story, but was something personal (and important) for me.

EDIT: No link to post since the story was since corrected, but I did send them an angry email.

The father of the person who spoke to Fox said it wasn't based on facts.
