1. I attended a wonderful symposium at Springwood (FDR National Historic Site) on the 4 Freedoms.

It was put on by Cornell.

Biden was President and America was a safe and civilized country then. It seems almost impossible that a few years later the country is falling apart under a reign of stupidity.

9. It looks a lot like the conditions in the South before the

Civil War, and in many areas after the war. Of course the freedom from fear was not always present. After the Rebellion in Haiti many plantation owners were very afraid that the same thing could happen here.
