I do not condone violence but, we all have to remember that Charles Manson did not physically killed the victims, he was the master mind, but Vincent Bugliosi was able to prove that he was as guilty, or more, than those who did commit the actual physical crimes. I can't say who Kirk influenced to commit crimes, and maybe no one followed on his inciting rhetoric (I hope no one did), but nonetheless, at least in my opinion, that is his legacy, preaching hate.

No one was directly 'silenced' but him by the gunmans actions. While this is an influential action as the victim was influential, MANY people are killed in this country due to diffences in politial opinions. Famly members kill family members at Thanksgiving arguing politcs, bar fights over politics, ... it's endless. Charlie Kirk was a major asset, influencer and money raiser for the Republicans. It is a sginificant loss for them, but I feel his tragic death is more akin all the other divise political killings and less along the lines of the killing elected, representaive officials and candidates as far as 'political assasinations' go. And Repulicans only care when it directly affects THEM as far as future money, election votes, or control of the government. A death has to impact them personally to be worthy of note.
