has always irritated me SO MUCH for the fact that it contains a fake pretense of familiarity which stupid people lap up. It seems to flatter them into thinking they’re “in the know” when it’s a simple manipulation he has mastered. He’ll say “As you know…” and drop a gaslighting zinger of a lie that sane people can see right through, but he sucks in the dingbats every time. It’s a force of personality entirely build on bullshit.
