Congress still cannot make any law restricting freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government.
The 1st amendment ONLY puts restrictions on Congress. It's amazing how many people don't understand this very simple fact.

Federal, state, and local. No need to admonish or belittle others, unless you are advocating for a much more limited application of the first amendment than currently exists.
