but I have a very hard time believing a DA would submit false evidence in a charging document and risk federal prison time.

I agree they do not read as authentic but don't think they were fabricated either.

Seems like either he put the narrative on record to try to protect someone or maybe his law enforcement family coached him through it out of fear of being connected to the gun or to disown him to MAGA land.

Has anyone seen a version with time stamps?

HOLY SH*T:

I put the alleged text exchange between Tyler Robinson and his transgender lover into Chat GPT and asked if it seemed real and genuine.

Chat GPT says the texts are "most likely fabricated," far too detailed, and too incriminating to be real...

Thoughts?

Witness says a few sentences about one part of a text and agent writes down something like "squad car in the area." They probably very easily obtained timestamps (missing from "transcript" ) but could not decrypt the actual texts or had some other impediment.

And that means they can't be totally trusted. Unless they present proof they came directly from Discord servers or off the suspect's phone, or something like that, it's reasonable to doubt their complete validity. You would think if they had proof that they came from Discord servers, that they would have presented that already and they would almost certainly include time stamps.

Suspected Kirk Shooter’s Gaming History Probed by Secret Service

US law enforcement is building a profile on suspected Charlie Kirk shooter Tyler Robinson, including his use of Donald Trump's name as a pseudonym on Valve Corp.'s Steam video-game platform.

The US Secret Service has joined the investigation into the shooting, working with the FBI to study Robinson's behavior and online activity to understand how suspects form grievances and select targets.

Experts warn against making too much of the suspected shooter's interest in video games, citing a lack of evidence linking violent video-game play to violence and suggesting other factors like exposure to violence and access to weapons are more relevant.

Suspected Charlie Kirk shooter Tyler Robinson used Donald Trump’s name as a pseudonym on Valve Corp.’s Steam video-game platform, a fact that’s become part of a profile US law enforcement is building on the alleged assailant.
