But just among us girls, expulsion is a much lower hurdle. With impeachment, you must get the majority of the house, plus you must get 2/3 of the Senate. Expelling a House member requires only 2/3 of the House.

Nonetheless, it is completely accurate to say members of Cngress cannot be impeached. And rhetorically speaking,, we should use that as a spear rather than a shield. That is, a good response would be:

"It is comical that Trump, the twice-impeached President, doesn't even understand that members of Congress cannot be impeached. The founders saved this most extraordinary punishment of impeachment for traitorous members of the executive branch."
