I was clicking through college football games just now, looking for an interesting game. Landed on NC State (14) v Virginia Tech(13). I'm not a fan of either school, but it's a good game.
Commercial break comes on and I was flabbergasted to see it was a recruiting ad for ICE, offering $50, 000. signing bonuses.
WTF? I don't watch much commercial TV, and so far this season I haven't seen any of these ads for ICE aired during other college or pro football games.
Have any of you seen them? College? Pro? What part of the country?
The game is being aired on CW.

ICE needs officer types. Colberts crowd isnt just Ivy League of course but they (we) are way more likely to have a college degree. Oh, dont forget the white part. Ivy League

(33,145 posts)I noticed the second time the ad aired. I was so stunned when I saw it the first time, the loan forgiveness in smaller print didn't register.
It seemed to me they were targeting former military members as recruits.
