I was working as a registered nurse I knew many police officers. Several were working as security for megachurch pastors.
I was gobsmacked to find out that pastors have security details, let alone that police would be working in those details.
These pastors can be extremely wealthy so I guess that it makes sense. And hearing about some of the activities that they are involved in I guess using the contributions of their flock also makes sense.
