I search often for images to hack, and quite a few real goodies come from the youtube static pix.

YouTube gives you a choice as to what to put as a thumbnail. It can be a frame you capture from the video. Or you can let YouTube select a random frame from the video. Or let AI create a thumbnail for you.

On my videos, I usually select an interesting frame from the video, add a title on it using a Photoshop-like program, and then upload it when I upload the video itself.
