Trump Threatens to Fire Military Leaders ‘On the Spot’
September 30, 2025 at 10:37 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

President Donald Trump threatened to fire top military leaders who might disagree with him at a rare meeting with hundreds of top generals and admirals, USA Today reports.

Said Trump: “If you don’t like what I’m saying, you can leave the room. Of course, there goes your rank, there goes your future, but you just feel nice and loose, ok?”

They could decide to hang in their position as a way to curtail or quietly undermine bullshit orders from Kegsbreath. They might also not resign because they know whoever would get put in their positions would absolutely not care about the troops or committing to an endless war and using troops as disposable fodder. I mean, I’m sure they don’t care about an endless war that they think is justified. But they know, as we do, whatever this manufactured bullshit is, it is not at all justifiable.

I'm not saying something like a real war on American cities can't happen, but it's much less likely the U.S. military would actually open fire on Americans in the streets if the officers leading the troops now remain in command. The ones who would never choose to resign because they agree with Trump are the officers who shouldn't be military leaders.

...that with two major cities already experiencing invasion and occupation by armed military forces, along with a quasi-military force rounding up inhabitants in this country like they're eradicating rodents, the measure of the threat is more credible coming from those already experiencing this.

To be sure, Trump plans more, but it's really something for me to hear the folks not yet impacted talking about this tyranny like it's sometime in the future.

At that point, we'll scarcely be able to pull it back. How have these same troops prevented any of what we've already seen, albeit how fortunate we are that no American was shot.

What about people like the husband and father shot and killed in front of his family - the officer claiming at the time he was seriously injured, but later said the injuries were no big deal?

There are countless stories like this, and neither well meaning people out here, or well meaning military troops are stopping this from happening, rather, they are government's the shield against our own resistance and protest against the abusive ICE agents.

However, things could get really grim if the U.S. military is turned into Trump's private armed force, much like ICE has become in recent months. And that could very well happen if the more principled military officers do resign in protest.

Basically, if you don't go along with his overthrow you're going to lose everything you've worked your whole life for.

I think we'll see some resignations, but most of these generals aren't necessarily set for life without their military pensions that they are counting on in retirement. They're basically having a gun held to their heads. It's disgusting and is spitting in the face of hundreds of years of armed services.

Chump and Kegsbreth together had one motive - to get their asses kissed with the TV cameras rolling. The generals knew this and didn't want to play along. Well, we all knew it too, but we wanted to see what they were going to do. Now we know. I hope the news media (even Faux Noise) is going to maul Chump over this abomination.

I think the Republic is safe for at least the next couple of years. After that is anybody's guess.

Trump just declared himself as being at war with America's cities; especially blue cities.
These officers don't appear to be on board with his War on America.
And, his threat to punish any of them who don't like it will just make them more determined that he won't succeed.
I'd like to be able to sit in on the meeting these officers have after this disgraceful display by the "Secretary of War" and the President.
