When he was talking about Trump confusing Armenia with Albania, Hayes said, "Albania, as we all know, borders on the Adriatic."
If I'm correct, he was referencing this classic moment from season three of "Cheers"

If I can remember it 40+ years later you know it works!
When I taught 1st graders I used all sorts of methods to help them learn and remember.

He appeared in a later episode, the one where Diane decides to go to Europe with Frasier, that was filmed prior this one but aired after it.
