2. This is a massive story in northern NJ - his father a cop and his uncle a police chief!

He stalked the girl for months and she got a restraining order and he was still out there doing it.

It is deeply horrific.

Prosecutors have yet to officially name Battiloro. But he was outed as the alleged killer through a series of traffic summonses from the Monday crash obtained by NJ.com.

Neighbors also identified the troubled teen to The Post as the driver in the crash.

At least 15 tickets were issued against him, including leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and speeding, as well as driving without a license, registration or insurance card, the outlet reported.

While authorities said hours after the alleged hit-and-run Monday that the driver was taken into custody, Battiloro was clearly free to record the bizarre video Tuesday.

It took authorities until Wednesday to arrest and formally charge him with two counts of first-degree murder.

The fact that he was still allowed out of the house after receiving a restraining order for stalking this girl (yes, girl, a teenage girl!) is beyond belief.

His parents are beyond negligent.

The police chief of Westfield, NJ should step down immediately. He knew damn well that his psychotic nephew had a restraining order and was a danger to this girl (and, as it turns out, anyone near her!).

I can't stand to watch the video. That headline is some kind of journalistic malpractice. As I understand the situation, the little turd ENDED two lives.

But they were women. Non-PlayerCharacters, so they don't count. What counts is that, should he face anything like the appropriate consequences for his own actions (certainly an outcome still in question), he ruined his own (male, therefore consequential,) life.
