Wouldn't an amazing message for Democrats be the following:

"Republicans were litetally willing to go along with a Trump dictatorship including the use of troops against American citizens, until they learned it would hurt their personal power and position. Who could ever vote for this party ever again?"

I urge everyone to do this with their gop congresscritter. Every time, the comments are betting better and beetter for the real of sanity. He has reacted with some generic attempt at "finding middle ground:" between haters and migrants that are needed in the farmlands.

The replies are always scathing. So he's getting the message. I hope others are, too.
