I'm not familiar with Israel, never been there, but from the Israelis I have met, they are smart, worldly, and aware. Extremist types don't tend to like me, and the feeling is usually mutual. They would be looking at the current situation with sober eyes, and cringe every time Netanyahu smiles. My younger daughter has friends there, but then, she has friends EVERWHERE. She has been known to fly down to Zanzibar, where Allah the Merciful (or whatever he is feeling like this week) holds sway, for the weekend to visit some friends down there.
