Last night at dinner I was struggling with The Free Press. All of my life that meant The Detroit Free Press, The Freep for short. Now I have to struggle with the name every time I see it. The new one is actually Freepress.com, but never identified as such.
My solution was simple, from now on, change the web site name to The Fricking Free Press.
I was having dinner at Frickers and everything was frcking delicious on the menus.
By the way the Freep is a really fricking great paper.

it’s going to be comically bad, biased and unserious.

Then again, maybe that’s the point? Other than 60 Minutes, it’s all in the crapper ratings wise right now. If they think they’re going to bring over “free thinkers” and MAGAs, good luck.
