According to the University of Chicago, bias exists between the parties.



I had someone ask me about how progressive the party is. Now, I freely admit that I am far more liberally progressive than most, and that my ideas are usually seen as 'far left' in regards to my insistence that humans come before profit and that the human aspect of society comes before corporate interests. Knowing this, I was at a bit of a loss as to how to answer.

I found this earlier today and felt that it answers the question posed by those who feel that neither party is truly operating in the best interests of the general public. In my opinion, neither one is committed enough to creating a more equitable society, but at least the Democrats are way more in tune with the situation than the rethugs are, and do seem way more interested in attaining that goal.
