'Could do something catastrophic': Clinical psychologist issues grave warning about Trump

COULD do something catastrophic?? How bout, WILL?

Look, when a sociopathic narcissist like Trump takes a wrecking ball to the PEOPLE'S house and posts videos of him BOMBING AMERICANS, it doesn't exactly take a rocket scientist to figure out what may very well follow.

He's already sending the military to raid American neighborhoods, arresting US citizens and political opponents, he's floated advancing his bombing strikes onto land, is prepping us for his invoking the Insurrection Act, and has told us in so many words he's not planning on leaving the WH anytime soon. Hello!

'Could do something catastrophic': Clinical psychologist issues grave warning about Trump - Rawstory

While his condition seems under control for now, Gartner warned that Trump's already "impulsive and erratic behavior" could get worse.

"It's so impulsive and erratic, and this guy has the nuclear football," Gartner said. "This is really someone who could wake up in a state of complete confusion and their kind of irritation and do something catastrophic. And no one is going to stop him."

Gartner said the eight recent boat strikes the U.S. military has carried out are a sign of Trump's worsening condition.

"It's a blatant violation of our law of international law," Gartner said. "It's going to get worse."

or in other words, a (what were the words again?) 'gross usurpation of power.'

As the U.S. marks one million people dead from COVID-19, scientists suggest that nearly one third of those deaths could have been prevented if more people had chosen to be vaccinated. NPR's Selena Simmons-Duffin reports.

And even though the unvaccinated continue to make up a majority of COVID-19 cases and related hospitalizations, the number of Americans who say they won't get a COVID shot hasn't budged in a year. NPR's John Burnett spoke to a few of them.

And now the CDC has been decimated to the point where we are sitting ducks for the next thing that comes along.

9. "The Fourth Turning" by William Strauss and Neil Howe
Thu Oct 23, 2025, 09:51 AM

carefully explains the cycles of history. Everyone should read it. Essentially we are currently in the part of the cycle they call the Fourth Turning, where everything goes to hell and then everything is resolved more or less and we then start a brand new cycle. The last fourth turning was 1929-1945, the Great Depression and WWII. Things were awful, then the good guys won and we entered the 1950s, the baby boom, and so on.

Right now, according to Strauss and Howe, we are at the beginning of a new fourth turning, and at present we have no way of knowing how it will all end. or who will win. Because of this book, I take the long view: Yes, things are bad now but they will get better eventually.

They didn't listen and now we are stuck. We knew this would happen.

The 25th Amendment won't help us because he has sycophants in the cabinet who have bought into his delusions.

The impeachment option won't happen even if we get control of the House because the Senate has to have 2/3 votes to convict and that is a statistical improbability. Also, the chief justice presides over the trial and we know whose pocket he is in.

We have 3 more years of this insanity and we will likely not survive it as a functioning democracy. The only hope is that nature helps us out, but then we have JD and the current gang in power. Still bad.

I just don't know how this ends other than badly.

even if the felon in Chief stood before the American public and admitted to ALL of it, more than HALF of MAGA would support him still.

After all, they voted for him, twice, knowing already of the scandals, his associations with known pedo Epstein, his "grab em by the p" tape, his creepy obsession with his own daughter, and the two dozen women who accused him of sexual assault.

So, MAGA will meet any proof or admission of guilt with the usual rationalizatons, dismissals, or some "to forgive is divine'" mantra, while Democrats are dragged to their graves for far less.

I don't think he cares one way or the other about being outed as an Epstein client. Because he knows his cult will follow him on down the path regardless. It's just more locker room behavior and they will give him a nod and a wink and a slap on the back and back him as their dictator regardless.

• Exposing the files exposes his blackmail operation
• It destroys his revenue stream
• It stops his blackmail of who knows how many wealthy people and legislators

It is at the core of his very existence. Money and power.

Trump is the ultimate anarchist he is bound and determined to destroy our Constitutional Republic in order to enrich himself and achieve ultimate power.

That's been obvious since 2015 at least. Did not take a PhD in psychology to see it.

He will plunge us into war at a moments notice because he can.

no matter how vile, corrupt and lawless. He has thirty-four felonies and still became president. There are no checks and balances when it comes to him, which only fuels his perception of omnipotence. That, along with his massive ego and sense of being untouchable are very dangerous.
