(12,412 posts)1. Hoping. But trump's got tricks, like a "tariff dividend bribe," more immigrant bashing, etc.to attract red voters.
Not counting on anything till votes are counted and winners seated.

Analyses I have read suggest that, in order to overcome gerrymandering, Dems would need at least a 3-4 point lead to retake the house.
They have 9, and imagine how that lead will grow in a year from now, when the economy is in recession, with double digit inflation and increasing unemployment, and, if the Dems dont cave to a cynical republican deal, millions with doubled or tripled healthcare premiums.
MTG understands the risks.
