I'm not much of a baseball fan, but the current World Series has a different meaning.

Go, Toronto Blue Jays! Go, L. A. Dodgers! The brave people in L. A. who work tirelessly day in and day out to resist Dear Leader's attempt to break their spirit deserve an in-your-face moment to Donnie the Barbarian. But a Canadian World Series title would send Snowflake Donnie to a new level of self-induced hell. He'd piss himself. At least we don't have to worry about him showing up at either venue. Imagine if he did.

That’s who we are. We’re not a bunch of bullies and submissives. And dishonest crooks the way Republicans paint us. I remember distinctly when the Blue Jays beat the Phillies in the World Series. But I’m still rooting for the Blue Jays this time.

I've been to Toronto and its suburbs. What a wonderful place filled with warm and friendly people. I believe a Blue Jay championship would be more likely to push Dumbfuck Donnie to a straight jacket demise.

I suspect there will be a significant loss of life and major damage to communities and critical infrastructure starting with the Norman Manley.

Lots of Canadians (some estimates say a million) in California in film and tech. The neutral California accent derives from Okies and also from the neutral Ontario Canadian accent. I resided longest in California and second longest in Ontario.

Ontario and California formed a market for carbon credits to combat climate change.

If the US does have to break up, I hope Canada and California get together quickly. California and Canada are both progressive.
