I have no connection to the military, but are those who are carrying out the attacks on these boats in the Caribbean carrying out illegal orders from the monster??? Isn't this something they could refuse??

Trump has labeled these people terrorists. A military law expert could provide a lot more information.

much easier to resign (if allowed) than take that step. I don't think an enlisted member can resign, resign to the brig maybe. Now there would be no protection as civilian whistleblowers MAY have. Big step in one's career.
And this situation is ambiguous enough to cause pause for taking that step.
