This is a good comparison of the Ontario Reagan ad and Reagan's actual speech....

He was a bad president in my opinion, but the Canadians did NOT misrepresent him at all regarding his stance on tariffs...

Note: it is silent for the first 22 seconds while they show texts from trump.. audio starts at the 22 second mark..

qualifier "in my opinion". There used to be certain legal standards that even a president had to meet.
