The urgency of replacing the East Wing?

I have some questions in my mind about what Trump and his associates intend to do at the East Wing. Crazy ideas. After all, this IS the Thiel administration, isn’t it? Thiel, and Palantir, are on my mind today after watching this very interesting video from More Perfect Union: “I Worked at Palantir: The Tech Company Reshaping Reality”.

Obviously, Trump wants whatever he wants, like a 2 year old, “NOW”. And he doesn’t care about forgiveness OR permission; he just plows ahead knowing no one will stop him, as long as he moves quickly. Plus, as a 2 year old, he is angry and lashing out. So likely, that’s all this urgency is about. Tear it down, and the public won’t have time to get informed, fight back, harass their reps, whatever. And the media can soon ignore it as ‘old news’. Most likely, it is all about the Trump grift (paid dinners in the “ballroom” by the sucker-fish that surround him) and/or all about revenge.

But Palantir has publicly stated its goal was to be ‘the operating system of the US government’ (which it is well on the way to becoming). Thiel mentions a plan to transform the government without having to persuade people, without having to do politics.

So I’m pondering about the federal government taking over Union Station a couple months ago. Pondering about data centers, or technocracies. And about the previous attempt at taking over the Capitol.
Pondering…what might the Owners of this administration want to build on the White House property? A better bunker for one man? A brain center/data center for a new techno-authoritarian government? A substitute meeting hall for a subset of congress, if the capitol building is “no longer useable”? There’s a bunker already (to which Dick Cheney evacuated on 9-11); there is a tunnel from the east wing to Treasury.

If there was a terror event in DC (say, at the Capitol) or if they are anticipating large scale unrest (such as in the event of cancelled or stolen elections, or the country goes broke, etc.), how might they use this space to consolidate and defend their power? Any thoughts about the motivations or visions that these ideological lunatics “behind his throne” might have in mind?

It will be Trump's throne room.

Complete with gilded throne and 'attendants' dressed up like Putin's palace staff.

Entry only to a select few, and there will be a hefty admission price.

The underground bunker will be upgraded to provide full kitchen service to keep the hamburders and diet coke coming.

The only people invited to events there will be oligarchs and others who pay their "dues" in bribe money. The reason Trump wants it to be so big is so they can collect bribes on an industrial scale of literally hundreds of people per event.

Also Mar a Lago North, a central clearinghouse to make sure Trump gets his cut from every possible deal.

what better way than to have a Palantir data center underground at the White House?
