A recent U.S. intelligence assessment has warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin remains more determined than ever to continue the war in Ukraine and secure victory on the battlefield, according to senior U.S. and congressional officials. The analysis, shared with members of Congress earlier this month, suggests U.S. agencies see no indication that Russia is willing to compromise on Ukraine, even as President Donald Trump attempts to advance peace negotiations.
