Saw on an SUV last night

My wife and I was at a function Thursday evening. There was a man that I would say is an older Vietnam veteran that went in before us using one of those rolling walkers that doubles as a seat. As we were leaving he was right in front of us. We told him to have a good evening.

I couldn't help but notice on the back window of his SUV, there was a large circular sticker saying "Proud United States Marine Veteran" surrounding the Marine Logo. To the left was a smaller circular sticker that said, "When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty."

I was very proud to know that trump, Voight and Miller is probably not fooling some of these veterans.

I think I was just born a liberal. I've strived all my life to not hate anyone and especially not an entire group of people, but I have to say I've failed. I hate all MAGA, no matter who they are, where they are. Just hate them, and wish them all bad things. I've tried to work on this, but I can't change. Hate them now, will hate them forever. But pretty sure that even if there's a hell I won't go there, Satan loves me. Ha ha.

7. I absolutely think we there are born liberals and born conservatives. I think evolution 'created' a balance

in the population between 'cooperators' (us) and 'competitors' (them). That's why there's liberals and conservatives in every culture, probably in roughly similar %'s. It's beneficial for the species survival to have that balance of temperaments. If the population is too conservative you kill each other, and if too liberal, you get killed by others, that kind of thing.

I bet if you studied chimps (and knew how to study for it) you'd find the same going on. Bonobo's too. Although Chimps are way more like conservatives, and Bonobos way more like liberals overall.

There is a difference between the brains of conservatives and liberal. Something about the need to follow blindly. I’m sorry I don’t remember the name of the research. That being said when Conservatives die from hunger or war their thinkers begin to understand more about things. Veterans are talking amongst themselves. Especially veterans of Vietnam. Of course we respect anyone who wants to risk their lives for their country, whatever the conflict or readiness.

But 58,000 U.S. souls of all races, religions, and creeds were lost to eternity in Vietnam—dwarfing any operation (no declaration of war) since. Vietnam was a hell on earth for the brave soldiers dragged into a phony war for commercial purposes.

They didn’t experience that for nothing. And since then, they know and live the benefits of being a U.S. military veteran for 50 years.

You can’t recruit someone to follow a coward and his gang after they’ve been hardened by combat and death around them for years on end. 58,000 dead, countless maimed and disabled.

Veterans will fight for liberty, but not to keep a leader seated on a gold toilet, flushing his crypto and other people’s money down the crapper.

Maybe I’m in a silo, but the old veterans who surround me said they’re organized and prepared for attempts to co-op them into a political battle.

I hope it’s just a loud minority who don’t want to appear weak in the eyes of others…who need to belong to a cult to project a macho image.
