It is very heavy on facts without hyperbole or rabble rousing language. It points out the international condemnation as extrajudicial executions, quotes Maduro saying that the US wants to steal the immense oil wealth of the country and start a new eternal war. The article states that the US justifications are questionable and mentions UN reports which show that Venezuela is not a center of cultivation, processing, or trafficking of narcotics, and that the route by which most narcotics are trafficked to the US is the Pacific. It mentions that the UN High Commission on Human Rights has condemned the killings.

25. While I understand what you're saying and agreeing with the philosophy

It isn't terribly effective as an opposition ad. It isn't personal enough, just black-and-white shots of vehicles at a distance and then explosions. It is too easy for it to be discounted with the drug war spin.

You need something up close and far more humanized, the worried or pained faces of people who look like they could be neighbors or relatives. The effectiveness lies in the contrast between their visible suffering and the indifferent frivolity of the Mar-A-Lago bunch.

Index the minimum wage to inflation and immediately raise it by $10 an hour to make up for lost time and stolen wages.
Give us a viable and affordable public option.
Speak out for paid family leave.
Eliminate the ceiling on taxes NOT paid into social security by high earners.
Consider a universal basic income to eliminate a mish-mash of stop-gap food, utility and education benefits meant to amelioarte economic injustice and oppression.

These policies/legislation would constitue a good start toward reversing the acceleration of wealth toward the top 1% of the 1%.
