Reason i volunteered at food pantry over 314 people came through. My point people are in pain and i feel compassion i identify with them.
One sight i can’t get out my mind is this family one infant two younger children three kids total. The father covered in green ink prison tattoos no judge yet his arms were scarred from using.
I thought fuck i was fortunate as i shot the breeze with this man.
Fortunate that my addiction alcoholism you know what they say.
Drugs or booze will eventually take you to the penitentiary. In four years chasing sobriety i had maybe three slips fuck it I’ll take every day as a win.

Me trying to feed the masses rules you gotta follow the food bank rules to try help everyone . They stuck me on just handing out lunch sandwiches teamster steak baloney and cheese sandwiches.
One sandwich per person fuck the rules i bagged that family eight sandwiches.
My point is then the Orange parasite throws $ 7 million Halloween party on taxpayers money. And the republicans are using hunger as weapon those fuckers.

4. I volunteer at my church's food bank

2-3 days a week. We rely on donations from local groceries as well as monthly shipments from USDA (beans, corn, flour, canned goods).

Distribution is Saturday, normally about 200 families show up. That number has been climbing for past month -- last Saturday was 800 -- we can't handle much more but we will do it somehow.
