I've heard that sandwich sales have gone through the roof in Chicago and LA. People stocking up, buying a dozen or more at time, just in case.😆

He leads a progressive large state and pulls together many disparate groups of people. I like him, I like his style and his politics.

I will gladly vote for him to be our next president (barring any unforeseen awful disclosure about something that would deem him unacceptable). I think he could be a great president. Perhaps he could have a woman VP.

Other leaders have to actually work to make changes that help their constituents.

For example, Whitmer rammed through a multitude of progressive bills in one year with a one seat majority in the Michigan legislature.

I enjoy Newsom’s trolling of Trump, but that’s about it.

Newsom isn’t even in my top 10 of potential 2028 nominees.

He's invigorated and encouraged Dems a lot.

One thing I admired about him is that during Biden's run for re-election before he dropped out is he was a formidable and faithful spokesperson for Biden and his accomplishments. The press kept trying to encourage him to challenge Biden and he never wavered in his enthusiastic support. He was an effective spokesperson then and he clearly is an effective spokesperson now.

I like that in a candidate.

There are a lot of great Dems potentially running in 2028, and I'm encouraged about our bench.
