8. I checked the 1st 30 replies & only 4 suggested that it's fake.

So, since the vast majority of the replies do consider it to be real, I would argue your "It's fake, not even a good fake."
If it's fake, which it probably is, it is a "good fake."
I couldn't find any responses from Snowman "agreeing with them," but you're right about the correct spelling of "straightjacket"
